I have owned Victoria for almost 27 years. I am the proud 2nd owner ...  but, it's time ...

 

She was designed by Ed Monk as a long distance, full-time, live aboard cruiser. Built by Windward Marine in Tacoma, WA, she was launched in Oct 1977.  She is the perfect design for family cruising - 3 cabins, 2 heads, private owner's cabin, dedicated engine room, loads of storage, beautifully clean, walkable decks and sleek to look at - and no slug either - 900 nm (New Cal to Aust) in 5.5 days - best day was 190 nm.

 

She has taken me and my family from California to Alaska,  through the South Pacific to NZ and Australia, to China and Japan, the Aleutians and Alaska again - 5 full years of cruising - then to Mexico and down through Central America to Panama and back to Mexico. Magical places. Magical memories.

 

She is currently in Marina Real in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico

 

She had a complete new engine & exhaust and new NL genset in 2003. She had all new 316 S/S standing rigging, Harkin furler, Strong track and fully battened mainsail in 2014.
